Please read these terms carefully before registering for Youth Camp 2026. By registering, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Registration and Acceptance

By registering for Youth Camp 2026, you agree to these terms and conditions
Registration is only complete upon receipt of full payment
All participants must be between 18-30 years of age at the time of the event
Registration is subject to availability and may close before the deadline if capacity is reached
We reserve the right to refuse registration for any reason

Payment Terms

The registration fee is R570 per person (all-inclusive)
Payment must be received by July 30, 2026, or as per agreed payment plan
All payments are non-refundable except in cases of event cancellation

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made after the deadline: No refund
If the event is cancelled by organizers, full refunds will be issued
Refunds will be processed within 30 business days
No refunds for no-shows or early departures

Health and Safety

Participants must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements
Emergency contact information must be provided and kept up to date
Participants must follow all safety instructions and camp rules
The camp has 24/7 medical support on-site
Participants engage in activities at their own risk
We maintain comprehensive insurance coverage for all participants

Code of Conduct

Participants must treat all attendees, staff, and property with respect
Alcohol, drugs, and weapons are strictly prohibited
Participants must attend all scheduled activities unless excused
Inappropriate behavior may result in immediate dismissal without refund
Participants must follow the camp schedule and curfew times
Mobile phone use may be restricted during certain activities

Event Changes

We reserve the right to modify the program schedule if necessary
Changes to speakers, activities, or venue may occur due to circumstances beyond our control
Participants will be notified of significant changes as soon as possible
Minor program adjustments do not entitle participants to refunds
In case of force majeure, the event may be postponed or cancelled

Liability and Indemnity

Participants attend the camp at their own risk. The organizers, Archdiocese of Johannesburg, Diocese of Klerksdorp, and Marine Shrine are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property during the event, except where caused by negligence.

By registering, participants (or their legal guardians if under 18) agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers from any claims arising from participation in the camp.

Photography and Media Consent

Photos and videos may be taken during the camp for promotional purposes. By registering, you consent to the use of your image in camp materials, social media, and promotional content.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify us in writing before the event. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

Personal Belongings

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. The organizers are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

We recommend not bringing valuable items.

Transportation

We will communicate transportation details closer to the event date.

Participants arranging their own transport must arrive at the venue by the specified check-in time.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Agreement to Terms

By completing the registration form and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register for the event.
